The optimal material flow in view
Efficient warehouse logistics and the best possible use of materials are required wherever glulam (glulam), cross laminated timber (cross laminated timber) and solid structural timber (solid structural timber) are produced. We have already been able to implement these requirements in numerous glulam projects and offer integrated complete solutions.
After order data has been read in from the ERP system, multiple lengths are created for production, press fillings are optimised and packages are created in the work preparation department. Then the optimal production sequence is determined and the batch is transferred to the system.
There, the production process, the required quantities of raw materials, storage and press contents and much more remain manageable thanks to the production control system. The optimised material flow system always ensures that the right quantity of the right quality is in the right place at the right time. Fully automatic packaging, including intermediate storage of products in a picking warehouse, is also part of the possible scope of delivery. A glue book as well as performance data collection provide the necessary logging. The option of individual labelling of each finished product and package label printing round off the solution.
