In 1985, the then 26-year-old master electrician Alfons Habbel founded the company with a focus on electrical installations and control engineering. Since 2005, he has been managing Alfha together with his son Achim. Together with their team, they have turned Alfha into one of the leading automation companies for the sawmill and timber industry in Central Europe.
